Adults And The Catholic Faith

faith

If you are an adult who is considering embarking on a spiritual journey that leads to becoming Catholic, the Inquiry period for RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the place to start! During September, we will meet on Thursday evenings from 7-8 p.m. to answer questions that you might have about Catholicism, the process, etc. And, starting Sunday, October 9th, we will meet weekly, in conjunction with the 8:30 a.m. Mass.

If you are a baptized Catholic, who has not had the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation, aspects of RCIA are designed for you.

And if you are a baptized Catholic who would like to be confirmed (and who already receives Communion at Mass), special Confirmation classes will begin in January.

For additional information, please call the Parish office at 949-218-3131 and leave a message for Linda McMahon; or, send an e-mail to L1900ahon@aol.com

Short Term Host Families Needed for International Exchange Students

teens

Education First, a non-profit organization is bringing 110 students ages 15-18 to our area from Finland, France & Spain. These kids are here to learn English & soak up American cul- ture. They attend school and participate in activities all day. We have been lucky enough to get some local families to help us provide homes for these students, but still need homes for about 20 kids. They are only here for 3 1/2 weeks from July 6-August 1st. This is a great cultural experience for the busy family who doesn’t have time to travel abroad. For every Holy Trinity Family who hosts, we will contribute $25 to the Holy Trinity World Youth Day Fund.

Please contact Kathy Clancy, parishioner, for more information at 949.233.8634 or kathy.clancy@ef.com

cazaclub

Here at Holy Trinity we are gearing up for our annual Dinner, Dance, Auction to be held at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club and couldn’t be more excited. I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you all to save the date-November 5, 2011 and to extend an invitation to each and every one of you to participate in the planning and execution of this special event.

  • Do you love to decorate? Are you a marketing genius?
  • Do you just want an opportunity to serve and get to know your parish community a little more?

If you answered yes to any of this questions please contact Angela in the parish office and she can talk about if you’d like to help out.
