The Bereavement Ministry will provide support to families as they plan funerals for a loved one and assist during the funeral Mass.
Specific tasks the Bereavement Ministry will complete include:
- Provide funeral coordination support and planning to families, in conjunction with the parish Music Director.
- Make contact with the families after receiving notice of death or prior to death in conjunction with the Priest if desired.
- Provide day-of funeral support as needed.
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. – Romans 6:4
