Women’s Ministry is bringing back our Journey Together Weekly Book Study. Journey Together Book Study is a fellowship of women who seek to more deeply explore their relationship with Jesus Christ and other Christian women. By reading the selected book, meeting weekly and sharing personal reflections, our goal is to strengthen, refresh and enhance our faith journey in a welcoming atmosphere at Holy Trinity.
This year we are being led by Caryn McLain (Wednesday mornings from 9:15-10:45am) and Karen Wong (Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm). We are excited to be able to offer child care for anyone with children ages 3 and up.
This Falls book is titled Blessed, Beautiful and Bodacious: Celebrating the Gift of Catholic Womanhood by author Pat Gohn. Blessed, Beautiful, and Bodacious offers insight into the writings of Blessed John Paul II, which articulate four gifts unique to every woman: generosity, receptivity, sensitivity, and maternity. Don’t be turned off by Bodacious. This bold word is a compliment and means “remarkable” or “most excellent” Blessed, Beautiful and Bodacious seeks to celebrate womanhood by exploring a woman’s dignity, gifts and mission.
No mater what stage in life you are at as women this group is for you. We women starting out as wives and moms. We also have grandmas, single moms, sisters, aunts. All are welcome. We will have a meet and greet on September 12th and our first study session will begin on the 19th and go thru December. Don’t worry if you cant make all 11 sessions. Come when you can, be as you are.
