MAKE THE MOST OF LENT

An evening for all hosted by the Men’s Ministry. With Lent upon us, you might be wondering “should I give up chocolate again?” Come join Fr Reynold and parish members on March 4th for a chat about getting the most out of Lent through a deeper understanding of the three traditional practices – praying, fasting, and almsgiving. We will be gathering in the Parish from 7:00pm – 8:00pm and refreshments will be provided.

Safe Families Update

Safe Families for Children ministry at Holy Trinity has added TWO to the team of host families!  Tom & Peggy Mauro, and Richard & Carolyn Toohey.  Both families have jumped right in and taken on their first hosting!  Two brothers (ages 6 & 9) whose mom has secured permanent housing for her and her four boys starting next week, along with a 5 year old girl and 4 year old boy, whose grandmother has adopted 8 of her grandchildren and needs support this week.   Please keep these host families and the families they’re serving in your prayers! And know that items you’ve donated to our resource bins in the parish office are being put to good use for hostings such as these!  If you are interested in learning more or helping, please contact: holytrinitysafefamilies@gmail.com

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Intentional Time with Christ  – The Stations of the Cross. Join us on Friday, March 15th at 6:00pm for a simple meal and Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations can be a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ’s last day. Specific prayers are recited, then the individual moves to the next station until all 14 are complete.

A simple meal will be available from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Bring your family and friends for a guided walk through the stations outside of Holy Trinity Church. Young families with children begin the guided walk at 6:30pm. High school & young adults will begin the guided walk soon after, followed by Adults as we wait for the group ahead. If it is desired to walk the   Stations as an individual, you are welcome after the guided walk of the groups.

To better prepare for the meal, please RSVP below. However, please do not hesitate to join us if unable to register. God always provides!

Our mission is to help men renew their minds and transform their hearts and lives for Christ. We meet every Saturday morning at 7:30 AM right here at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Parent Newsletters

Every month our Youth Ministry publishes newsletters for parents who have Middle School or High School aged students. These newsletters provide an insight into what has been going on in our ministry and what is coming up in the month ahead. They also contain various articles, videos, and resources you might find helpful as a parent of a teenager. Please see the links below for our February 2019 newsletters. Enjoy!
